Admission Process for IPMAT 2025 Batch (Domestic Applicants)
1. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore:

Age Requirement:

Applicants must be born on or after August 1, 2005. Candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for a 5-year relaxation, i.e., born on or after August 1, 2000.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed their Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025.

Standard X/SSC: Applicants must have completed their Standard X/SSC or an equivalent qualification.

Important Notes:

Candidates expecting to complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent exam by July 31, 2025, can apply. If selected, they will receive provisional admission, subject to providing required mark sheets and certificates at the time of registration.
The percentage of marks for Standard X and XII will be calculated based on aggregate marks of all subjects listed in the mark sheet, irrespective of board regulations. In cases where grades are awarded, the conversion method prescribed by the respective board must be followed. Applicants from international schools affiliated with foreign boards such as IGCSE and IB (IBDP and IBCP) are eligible to apply. They must provide “The IB Indian Percentage Transcript”. IIM Indore holds the authority to determine equivalence, recognition of qualifying examinations, and eligibility conditions.

2. Application Procedure

Eligible candidates must submit their application online via www.iimidr.ac.in between February 14, 2025, and March 27, 2025.

Application Fee:

General & NC-OBC Category: Rs. 4,130/- (inclusive of GST @18%)
SC/ST/PwD Category: Rs. 2,065/- (inclusive of GST @18%)
Candidates applying under NC-OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and EWS categories must submit valid supporting documents. No category changes will be permitted after application submission.
The application link will be available starting February 14, 2025.

3. Selection Process

Selection will be based on performance in the Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must appear for both to be considered.

Stage 1: Application Submission

Candidates must complete and submit the online application form before the deadline.

Stage 2: Aptitude Test (AT)

Candidates meeting eligibility criteria will be invited to take the Aptitude Test, scheduled for May 12, 2025 (Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM). The test will be held in 37 cities across India. IIM Indore reserves the right to modify test centers as required.
Aptitude Test Structure:

Section Time Duration
Quantitative Ability (MCQ) 40 Minutes
Quantitative Ability (SA) 40 Minutes
Verbal Ability (MCQ) 40 Minutes

Each question carries 4 marks, with a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers (except for SA questions).
Candidates must attempt sections in a predetermined order.

Stage 3: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who achieve positive raw scores and meet minimum sectional cut-offs in the Aptitude Test will qualify for Stage 4. The Admissions Committee determines these cut-offs. Rejected candidates will not receive regret letters.

Stage 4: Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the PI, conducted in online/offline mode (to be communicated later). IIM Indore expects candidates to maintain a minimum performance level in various PI parameters. Those who fail to do so will not proceed to Stage 5.

Stage 5: Final Selection

IPMAT INDORE 2025 Exam Notification ,Final selection will be based on a Composite Score (CS), calculated as follows:

Candidates will receive provisional admission offers based on merit and reservation norms. No communication will be sent to unselected candidates.

4. Reservation Policy

IIM Indore follows the Government of India’s reservation policy:
27% for Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC)
15% for Scheduled Castes (SC)
7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD)
PwD candidates must have at least 40% disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016. Valid documentation from a competent authority is required.

5. Additional Information

Total Intake: 150 seats (Domestic Applicants)
Degree Awarded: Upon successful completion, students will receive a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) under the Dual Degree Programme.
The programme follows the Indian Institutes of Management Act 2017.
Candidates submitting multiple applications with altered information will face disqualification.
