AILET 2025 Exam Notification

The Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali, conducts the AI Law Entrance Test (AILET) annually for admission to its five-year BA LLB (Hons.) program. The institute, affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh, is renowned for its academic excellence, discipline, and holistic legal education. With a well-structured curriculum, modern infrastructure, and experienced faculty, AIL provides students with comprehensive training in legal studies, research, and advocacy skills.
The institute offers a total of 80 seats, allocated as follows:
Wards of Army Personnel: 75 seats
All India General Category: 5 seats
Additionally, 20 seats are reserved for Punjab Residents (Civil Category), and admission to these seats is conducted through centralized online counseling by the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab.

AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
Age Limit: Candidates should be below 20 years as of July 1, 2025 (relaxation up to 22 years for SC/ST candidates).
Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

  • Vocabulary, grammar, sentence correction, reading comprehension, and error detection.
