Indian Army 10+2 TES 54 Notification – January 2026 (FOR MPC)
The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 54 for January 2026 course. This entry is exclusively for unmarried male candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and appeared for JEE Main 2025. TES is a prestigious opportunity for students to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers in the technical branch. Selected candidates will undergo training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, followed by technical training at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, or MCEME Secunderabad.
A total of 90 vacancies have been announced for TES 54. The application process is online and open from 13 May 2025 to 13 June 2025.

Indian Army TES 54 – Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
Gender & Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). The candidate must have appeared in JEE Main 2025.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 16½ years and 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence (i.e., born between 2 July 2006 and 1 July 2009 – both dates inclusive).
Indian Army TES 54 – Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on JEE Main 2025 score and PCM percentage in Class 12.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interview at Selection Centers in Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a thorough medical exam.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness. Final selection is subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

- Click on “Officer Entry” and then select “Apply Online.”
- Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill out the TES 54 application form with accurate details.
- Upload all required documents including Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and JEE Main scorecard.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

On successful completion of the 4-year training, candidates will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant.

Important Notes
- There is no written exam for TES – selection is solely based on JEE (Main) score, PCM percentage, and SSB interview.
- Ensure eligibility before applying – candidates found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.
- SSB call-up letters will be issued online only; no hard copies will be sent.
